On Apollo’s Chariot – A music history walk through Esterházy Palace
Bősze Ádám’s latest music historicy walk through the magnificent halls of the Esterházy Palace explores mythological figures, Chinese fishermen, relentlessly ticking clocks and, of course, the life and music of Joseph Haydn.
During this ninety-minute tour, we will peek into the princely apartments, revisit both the joyful and the poignant moments of the composer’s life here, and listen to excerpts from his works. Prince Nikolaus “the Magnificent’s” favourite instrument will also make an appearance, and even the spirit of Maria Theresa will be conjured up.
