Once again, the fortepiano takes the lead in the five concerts of the season ticket series held in Solti Hall, Liszt Academy, where internationally celebrated specialists of the instrument – of importance in music history, deservedly rediscovered and offering many exciting possibilities to this day – take to the stage from the Netherlands, Romania and Japan. During the concerts spanning periods and styles, the piano, the all-conquering ‘offspring’ of the fortepiano, and indeed the violin of Barnabás Kelemen also have roles to play.
