We are looking forward to welcoming our audiences in the 2023/2024 season with a series of three concerts in the Grand Hall of the Liszt Academy Budapest. On 12 December 2023, we will prepare for the holidays with a Baroque Advent Concert, featuring a programme of intimate and beautiful cantatas by Johann Sebastian Bach and Buxtehude. The evening’s headliners will be the Purcell Choir and Orfeo Orchestra, conducted by György Vashegyi.
On 28 January 2024, Bach’s Mass in B minor will be performed by our resident ensembles, this time conducted by the renowned British conductor and early music expert Marcus Creed.
On 23 May 2024, the series will conclude with Handel’s Dixit dominus and Silente Venti, among others, with Emőke Baráth as soloist and the Purcell Choir and Capella Savaria conducted by György Vashegyi.
