Haydneum Concerts in Eszterháza 2025
Summer is also rich in musical experiences with the Haydneum: at Eszterháza – the Esterházy Palace in Fertőd – visitors can enjoy eighteen concerts over six weekends between July 18 and August 24.
The concerts, held on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 7 p.m., will feature one of the main stars: the Apollo Hall of the Esterházy Palace. Here, authentic period sound is guaranteed, and thanks to historical instruments, performance practices, and period-appropriate technical solutions, the music resonates just as it would have two and a half centuries ago.

3rd Haydneum Eszterháza Festival
August 29 – September 6, 2025
One opera performance, a solo concert, a chamber music concert, two orchestral concerts, a family morning, and a music-historical walk with Ádám Bősze await visitors at the III. Haydneum Eszterháza Festival. Audiences can experience Haydn’s Armida, enjoy the splendid piano trios of Haydn and Schubert, immerse themselves in the fortepiano repertoire of the Viennese Classical period, and encounter orchestral works by Mozart and lesser-known contemporaries. The festival will also reveal the essence of “Gypsy Baroque.” The venue is Haydn’s “home,” the Esterházy Palace in Fertőd.
