As part of the Fortepiano Series at the Liszt Academy Solti Hall, audiences can enjoy three solo and three chamber concerts. German, Russian, Polish, and Hungarian artists will present, among other works, solo pieces from the Classical and Romantic periods, Schubert’s songs, Brahms’s ethereal Horn Trio, and explore the life and compositions of the Dutch composer Carel Anton Fodor. The program also features the Ensemble Variabile, a leading ensemble specializing in historically informed chamber music performance.
