OUR FORGOTTEN MUSICAL TREASURES
Hungarian 18th century musical legacy from the Esterházy Collection of the National Széchényi Library’s Music Library
On 25 November 1802, Count Ferenc Széchényi decided to donate, transfer and assign his rich collections ‘for the benefit and good of my sweet country and the community, forever and irrevocably’. The concert will pay tribute to the anniversary of the founding of the National Széchényi Library and the Hungarian National Museum.
