A walk through the history of music with Ádám Bősze in the castle garden
How lavish was the life of musicians at the court of Nicholas the Magnificent? Were they well cared for, or did they live like servants? What did they eat, under what conditions did they sleep, where did they pray, or how did they entertain themselves? How did they manage everyday life, and how did they celebrate?
Bősze Ádám’s music history walk in Eszterháza explores these questions and more, with each stop highlighting key figures such as Nicholas the Magnificent and Joseph Haydn.
The walk begins at the Haydn statue in the French Garden and lasts approximately 90 minutes.
