In addition to two 300-year-old Bach cantatas and two French-style Telemann cantatas, the concert will feature an exceptionally poetic rarity: Franti\u0161ek Ign\u00e1c T\u016fma’s Miserere in F minor, one of whose rare contemporary manuscript sources comes from the collection of the Diocese of Gy\u0151r. Gy\u00f6rgy Vashegyi’s historical ensembles will be joined by outstanding soloists, including prominent performers from the Hungarian early music scene: Zolt\u00e1n Megyesi (tenor), Zolt\u00e1n Melkovics (bass) and Viola Thurnay (alto), as well as New Zealand-born Ella Smith (soprano), a regular guest of Haydneum and the Hungarian early music scene.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
