The word teaches, the example attracts. The table is set, the family feasts are celebrated, the togetherness is an uninterrupted learning opportunity. The Kossuth Prize-winning folk singer and storyteller received and inherited his craft from his mother in Kunhegyes, and she from his father, G\u00e1bor Tanka, the famous dancer-trumpeter-notetaker. Andr\u00e1s Berecz\u2019s first child, Istv\u00e1n, not only inherited his father\u2019s knowledge, but also multiplied it. His love of dance was passed down from his mother. He himself collects dance in its original environment.
