In addition to pieces by lesser-known masters of 17th- and 18th-century Venice, works composed between 1600 and 1892 will be performed in the most authentic interpretations possible.<br\/><br\/>The institution does not aim solely at connoisseurs: the Haydneum Liszt Academy Series will culminate in 2026 spring with Handel\u2019s world-famous oratorio Messiah, while the Haydneum Fortepiano Series will showcase the emotional and structural richness of 18th- and 19th-century keyboard music through works by celebrated composers such as Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Schumann, and Brahms. Moreover, musicologist \u00c1d\u00e1m B\u0151sze continues his lecture series on Haydn, this time offering a playful and engaging insight into the composer\u2019s daily life in Eszterh\u00e1za.<br\/><br\/>\u201c<em>This is a very exciting and beautiful new chapter in the history of early music performance in Hungary<\/em>,\u201d said Gy\u00f6rgy Vashegyi, Artistic Director of the Haydneum. Alongside Hungary\u2019s leading and most prestigious early music performers, outstanding international artists from Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Italy, Finland, Poland, Russia, Germany, and the UK will take the stage to create unforgettable musical experiences.<br\/><br\/>The Haydneum festivals \u2014 the Autumn, Sacred Music, and Eszterh\u00e1za Festivals \u2014 revive the vibrancy of historical musical life from Budapest to Eszterh\u00e1za. Csilla S\u00fct\u0151, Managing Director of Eszterh\u00e1za Public Benefit Nonprofit Ltd., emphasized: \u201c<em>Our mission is also to support the arts, and especially early music.<\/em>\u201d<br\/><br\/>While the main venues of the series are in Budapest and Eszterh\u00e1za, early music masterpieces will also reach numerous other major cities across Hungary, thanks to the Haydneum\u2019s partnership with Filharmonia Hungary. Concerts will take place from Veszpr\u00e9m and Balatonf\u00fcred to Szeged, Ny\u00edregyh\u00e1za, and B\u00e9k\u00e9scsaba.
